Year 4 is a fun and engaging year group where children continue to deepen their knowledge and understanding of language through themed texts such as: The Sewer Demon, Beowulf, Iron Man and Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Our topics are also enhanced by stimulating trips as well as visitors to the school. Throughout curriculum PE there are opportunities for competition, where children learn important life skills for example: resilience, co-operation, teamwork and respect for others as well as keeping healthy.
